Meet Our Doctor's...

Founder and President of Doc For A Day, LLC 

 

After graduating cum laude from The National College of Chiropractic in 1989, Dr. Lachman opened and operated a successful private practice for 9 years in Lincolnshire, IL. Desiring a change of scenery and seeing a much need gap that needed to be filled in the chiropractic field, he opened Doc For A Day in 1998.  DFD has grown into a multi-state premiere chiropractic fill in service.  When not busy with day to day operations of the business, he enjoys music, scuba diving and skiing.

Dr. Sadler earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2009 and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in 2013. She is certified in the Webster technique and has completed many continuing education courses with the Motion Palpation Institute, McKenzie Method, applied kinesiology, and nutrition. She is also a certified animal chiropractor. In her spare time, Dr. Sadler enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Williams is from New Zealand, son of a dairy farmer and enthusiastic life-long sailor.  He came to the US in 1964 and attended The National University of Health Sciences, College of Chiropractic Medicine.  He opened a practice in Morrison, IL. In 1993 Dr. Williams joined the faculty at The National University of Health Sciences, College of Chiropractic as Chair of the Dept. of Chiropractic Practice.

Dr. Meline graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1987.  She ran a successful chiropractic practice in Mundelein, IL for 20 years before taking some time off for her family.  Missing chiropractic, Doc For A Day offered her a chance to get back into chiropractic without opening a new practice.  Dr. Meline is very proficient in diversified adjusting, but can also utilize acupuncture, activator or the pro-adjuster.

Dr. Werner attended DePaul University where he received a BS in Biological Sciences. Following graduation, Dr. Werner was employed in research capacity for both DePaul and Northwestern Universities, and was published in several national scientific journals. He attained his Master's Degree in Public Health from St. Louis University. While pursuing his Master's Degree, he also worked in Infectious Disease Department at Washington University School of Medicine.  Subsequently, Dr. Werner attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he received a BS in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  His scientific education allows him to view human health from research to hands-on chiropractic care.

Dr. David Pisani - Illinois

Dr. Pisani was raised in St. Louis but now calls Chicago home. He earned a BS in Biology from Washington University and graduated from Logan University, College of Chiropractic in 1986. Dr. Pisani had a private practice in St. Louis for 8 years and then moved to Chicago to open his second practice. He has been with DFD for several years and enjoys the variety provided by working with our clients and taking great care of their patients. Dr. Pisani loves to travel in his time off.

Dr. Alli Stafford - Wisconsin

Dr. Alli is a 2015 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport). She has been doing coverage work, on and off, since 2016 and has knowledge of and experience with a variety of techniques and modalities, but is most proficient with Palmer Package. Additionally, she is certified to perform dry needling, speaks Spanish, and has received training in infant and child adjusting techniques through the ICPA.

Dr. Settimi is from upstate New York and both parents were Chiropractors. She graduated from the National College of Chiropractic and practiced with her father in Buffalo, New York for a year before moving to Wisconsin and starting a practice in Brookfield 40 years ago. In 2020 she sold her practice and realized quickly how much she missed practicing. She now enjoys working part time for Doc For A Day. Dr Settimi utilizes primarily diversified adjusting, Webster technique, cranial sacral, Activator, dry needling and practices nutritional consulting.  In 2009, she was voted 2009 Chiropractor of the Year for Wisconsin, for dedication to our profession and service to the community.

Dr. Bayer graduated from NUHS in 1988 and had practices in Park Ridge and Schaumburg. She was an associate professor at Parker University in Dallas from 1996-2012 and has been a locum tenens chiropractor since 2013. She enjoys treating patients with Diversified, Cox Technique, Thompson, and others.

Dr. Heigl is a graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic – Davenport. Chiropractic technique competencies include: Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Arthrostim – KST, Instrument Adjusting - Activator, Knee Chest, Extremities,  SOT,  Soft Tissue – NIMO, PNF, Pin and Stretch.

Dr. Korfel is from Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2013.  He specialized in worker compensation, personal injury as well as treating athletes in the Chicagoland area until 2018.  Dr. Korfel utilizes primarily Diversified, Webster technique, Activator, dry needling, Gonstead, Thompson, CBP, Pettibon and many other soft tissue techniques

Dr. Puzon graduated from NUHS in 2012 and currently works part time at his own clinic in Orland Park.  He enjoys treating patients with Diversified, Thompson, Pettibon and CBP protocols.
